Norden is one of the oldest towns in East Frisia, and in Norddeich it has a district where the holiday begins for many visitors: ferries leave the harbour for Juist and Norderney. That shapes the local economy. Holiday flats, hotels, restaurants, letting agencies and leisure providers live on guests who search, compare and book online beforehand. Their websites have to stay fast in high season, show accommodation and dates accurately and also speak to guests from the Netherlands. Between Easter and autumn there is hardly any time for upkeep — updates happen when the business allows.
Alongside tourism, Norden has a second mainstay: health. If your site still runs on v12 or older, we schedule the switch to v14 outside the high season. In maintenance we check every security bulletin on the day it is published and keep PHP and extensions current.
It takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes to drive from Oldenburg to the town of Norden. That is why we bundle on-site meetings: kick-off and concept workshop on one day, sign-off at your premises by arrangement. The rest we do remotely — development on a staging environment you check in your browser, coordination by phone or video, updates and maintenance without travel.
